Cycella Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pixelridge Web, Bardiya, Nepal (“we”), for use of the Cycella app. By using Cycella you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Cycella is

Cycella helps you log your period, mood, symptoms and pads, and shows estimates of your next period and fertile days. It can make a summary to show a doctor, back up your data with encryption, and share a few things with a partner you invite.

Not medical advice. Not birth control.

• Predictions, fertile days, ovulation days and tips are estimates based on what you log. They can be wrong, especially when cycles are irregular.
• Cycella is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
• Do not use Cycella to prevent pregnancy or to plan contraception. Use a proven method and talk to a doctor or health worker.
• Always ask a qualified doctor about pain, very heavy bleeding, missed periods, pregnancy or any health worry. In an emergency, go to a hospital or call your local emergency number.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your phone, PIN and 12-word key safe. Anyone with your key can open your backup.
• Only invite a partner you trust. You can stop sharing at any time.
• Do not misuse the service: do not attack, overload, reverse engineer the server or try to access boxes that are not yours.

Age

You can use Cycella at any age. If you are under 18, backup and partner sharing are not available, and we recommend you use Cycella with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled. Your logs belong to you. You can export or delete them at any time.

The service

• Cycella is free. If we add paid features later, we will show the price and terms before you pay.
• We may change, pause or stop features, including the backup server. If we plan to shut down backup, we will give notice in the app so you can save a copy.
• The app uses open-source software. Their licences are listed in Me › Open-source licences.

Liability

We build Cycella with care, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made based on the app's estimates, including pregnancy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, the courts of Banke district (Nepalgunj), Nepal, have jurisdiction. This does not take away any right you have under the consumer or data protection laws of the country where you live, including India, or to go to the courts or consumer forums there.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the version and date above and show a notice in the app.
